There was no room on my nano for more songs, so iTunes asked me if i needed it to create an automatic playlist that will sync all time i plug in my ipod, and i clicked yes. Then i deleted the playlist to try and get the songs i needed on my ipod back, and today it wont sync because the playlist is gone. How do i fix it?

I have restricted hard drive space and used to delete songs from my itunes library once it was loaded into my ipod. I have merely upgraded to itunes 7.5 and can’t delete songs from the library and not have it deleted from the ipod when it is synced. Is there any way to avoid the song being deleted from the ipod and still delete it from the itunes library?
