My cousin has the Iphone with her AT&T network and i think ithe phone is awsome but i have the verizon network (which rules!) and i do not desire to swith networks. Is there a way to use the Iphone with Verison?

I desire to add songs to my Ipod from a untried personal but when syncing the ipod, I get a message that the contents of the ipod will be erased & replaced with the contents of the library. Is it possible to backup the contents of the ipod on the computer, or add contents without erasing any old ones?
