i agree with all the people saying no because the new 3g iphone comes with a plan that costs up to $1500-$2000 per year or 3 years i think and ipod touch is only a one time payment so if they do add a camera on the touch sales for iphone will drop and apple will lose prophet(ALOT)

a camera in the ipod touch would be nice and i am sure many people will buy ipod touch, but iphone sales would drop by a lot and that would upset apple because i think they care more about the iphone then ipod touch and with the camera being built in the ipod touch then there isn’t much point in buying the iphone because you have to pay monthly.

I hope they do put a camera on it, well, there SORT of already is a camera on it, all you have to do is press the menu and the power button at the same time really quick, and whatever is on the screen at the time will be saved to your images, it’s pretty useful if you need to remember text or something!

a camera would be great, but i’d rather have an ipod touch with bluetooth or speakers. speakers especially as i wouldn’t have to share the earphones with my brother when watching movies, listening music.
BTW apple will be holding a ipod event on September 9th for the touch and nano so expect an announcement then.

It’s a good idea, but I don’t see it happening. With rumors of the iPod line being redone next month also comes the price drops rumor. I don’t see a price drop taking place if they’re going to add a camera to it.

An iPod Touch with a camera is called the iPhone. I think Steve Jobs is too smart to give the iPod Touch too many fun additions, because then no one would buy the iPhone.
And, if you are good with computers/electronics, switch out your sim card. I have a friend to switched his T-Mobile card and uses it now with his iPhone.

i think iphone is better.dont really like verizon.t-mobil is good.i hav a sidekick,and i have it on t-mobil and it works great

There is a camera attachment avalible for any ipod, about $30.00 at an apple store, but i think you can get one online cheaper

that would be a great feature to the ipod touch
but I highly doubt they’ll have it since they want people to buy the iphone.
