Okay, so when I was like 10, I got a new computer. When I hooked my iPod up to it, I lost all my songs. I just got a new computer, and I would like to know how to sync my iPod (meaning put all of the music from it) on my new computer. I looked up other questions like this, but I couldn’t understand the computer terms. Any simplified answers?

you can’t put songs from an iPod onto a computer without specialized software. You’ll have to transfer (by flash drive) all the songs from your old computer to your new, and then re-sync your ipod to your new computer.
Well I didn’t lose my songs but you have to have iTunes and you shouldn’t lose the stuff.Do you have a Mac of PC? Either way go to this link.http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
You can try this software to backup the stuffs in your iPod/iPhone/iTouch. Recover lost or missing music, backup and restore all of your iPod/iPhone/iTouch content, including your favorite songs, videos, photo files and Play Lists, and that’s not all. You can try this software to backup songs, videos, photos in iPod to PC, copy iPod songs, videos, photos to new ipod, computer or notebook.http://www.dvd-video-converters.com/ipod…

Don’t directly click “Sync and erase”, otherwise, you will loss all iPod songs. The most convenient and secure way is to use an iPod to computer/iTunes direct transfer software, like this handy one

Many of my friends recommended it to me when I needed to transfer all my songs, videos, playlists, photos podcasts etc. from my iPod onto my computer and iTunes.
With just a few simple clicks, it will help you transfer all songs/videos and other files from iPod to iTunes as well as from iPod to your selected folder on your computer.
More importantly, this won’t overwrite any original files on your iPod. And all song names and playlists are preserved.
Now all songs are on your new iTunes and you can sync smoothly without deleting any files.
Hope this can help.
