How Do You Transfer Songs From Ipod To Your Itunes Music Library?
My son plugged his ipod into someone else’s computer/itunes and dragged and dropped songs to his ipod. Now I cant figure out how to get the songs from his ipod into his itunes music library. All the songs show up when I click on his ipod device, but only his songs he had prior show up in his actual library. Is there a way to get all the songs from his ipod to show up in his music library?

Hello,
In order to protect copyright music, iTunes blocks you from transferring music from iPod back to iTunes.
So you need backup your iPod song to computer first. Then adds to your iTunes from computer.
Just get the software you need from here:http://www.ipod-to-computer.net/ipod-to-…
Try it and good luck to you!

Yes. Here is an easy way. That is to use this popular iPod to iTunes transfer program called iPod rip http://www.gutensoft.com/Utilities/jobos…
Many of my friends recommended it to me when I needed to transfer all my songs, videos, playlists, photos podcasts etc. from my iPod to my iTunes.
With just a few simple clicks, it will help you transfer all songs/videos and other files from his iPod to his iTunes as well as from iPod to his selected folder on his computer.
More importantly, this won’t overwrite any original files on his iPod. And all song names and playlists are preserved.
Hope this can help.

Although iTunes program is very good at keeping a computer-based library synchronized to an iPod automatically it provides exreamly limited functionality for transferring info in the opposite direction-from your iPod back to your computer. one of the likely reasons for Apple to have taken such a restrictive approach to this is to combat piracy and thereby maintain good relations with the music brands that are selling their selling their content via Apple iTunes Store. so it has therefore fallen into the three party developers to pick up where iTunes left off in this regard. and i give a high recommendation to Aniosoft iBackup, which is very robust and full-featured utilitie that will do everything from basic coping of media content back to your hard drive all the way through to rebuilding your entire library using the info on your iPod,complete with playlists, ratings ,and play count info.Among all these apps i would like to recommend Aniosoft ibackup.it enables you to transfer iPod’s music and other content to any storage device and iTunes as well. And both the backup in the storage device can be recovered and restored with no any change and no any risk. And the data in the iTunes is quite in accord with the iPod’s data including its playlists, rating and etc.
So in your case, you can make a music transfer from your iPod to the iTunes in your computer with this tool and also make a backup for the ipod’s content somewhere in your computer as well.
There is a note that needs your attention, you have to turn off the auto sync of the iTunes before you can make this transfer.
