First make sure that in Itunes its not set to automatically update your Ipod. If it does then when you plug it in will wipe it out and put whats inthe current library on the Ipod. Plug in the Ipod, and import the music from it to Itunes. Or plug in the Ipod and go in and pull th songs off manually by finding the folder on the disc.

Itunes should import it automaticaly unless you have a software glitch. or just manually do it going to options and import songs from your usb location.

Plug in your Ipod. All your songs should show up in iTunes on a list under external drive. Go to file and go down to import. Click on the songs, or highlight the ones (all of them) that you want to import to your library, and hit enter. It should transfer them all.
If this fails, or doesnt work, there is another way.
Go to my computer, and click on your iPod. Find the folder on your ipod where the music is stored. Then once you have found your music, highlight is with the mouse, and drag it to the desktop, or rather create a new folder and call it music, and drag the music their.
