I have a nano 3rd generation ipod. I am planning to restore it becausesomeone locked my volume limit at a very low level. My ipod came with games on it brand new however, and to make sure I don’t lose those I wanted to put my free games in my library because they aren’t there currently. Also, I won’t be heartbroken if I lose my high scores but is there anyway to save those, if not that’s okay.

Well if you want to restore your ipod it will get rid of all your high scores but it will not get rid of the games, when you restore an ipod it just resets everything back to the way you had got it when you bought it. If you want to reset the volume limit find out the pass code or if you don’t need one to access it, just go to the volume limit and set it to however you want it.
First you have to back it up and it saves your high scores and all of your music on itunes an after you are done restoring your ipod it will want you to restore its data from last sync after you do that then all you have to do is wait for all of your settings and music and videos and games to just come right back on you ipod as if it never happened
