How Come My Ipod Does Not Sync All My Checked Songs In My Itunes Library?

I go through my library and check the songs I want to sync and they will not sync in to my ipod. The songs I want are checked but it will only give me certain songs and I have plenty of room left in my ipod. What’s the deal?

The reason is that some of the songs that you have in your library, the source of the song cannot be found. For instance, if you download a song and save it to your desktop, then drag it into iTunes, then iTunes will know where the song is stored. However if you move it to another folder, then iTunes does not know where that song went. If you try to listen to that song, an exclamation mark will appear on the list beside the song’s name and it will ask you to locate the file of the song. It happens to a lot of people, say you have songs on an old MP3 player, then you directly drop and drag those songs into the library, but every time you want to listen or sync those songs you will have to plug the MP3 player back in. Otherwise iTunes won’t know where the song went.

Your ipod might not have enough storage space for the songs.
