So I’ve always heard that first-gen iPod nanos die after about two years, and mine is getting close to that. What are some signs and symptoms of an iPod that will soon need it’s battery replaced?

Battery holds charge for less then 30 minutes
If you notice alot of abnormal heat while in use or on charge. As well as it not holding a charge for very long. i believe you can send them in for battery replacements but I am unsure what the cost is. It is probably cheaper in the long run to buy a new one, plus it comes with video. They get you hooked then keep you hooked. It’s good for MAC’S business.
